5.                RECEIVE report of the Executive Officer.

 

 

6.      CONSIDER:

 

A.           adopting the integration of Metrolink fare media into the EZ transit pass Program; and

 

B.               authorizing the Chief Executive Officer or his designee to enter into an agreement with the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) and amend the EZ transit pass agreements with the transit operators to implement the integration of Metrolink fare media into the EZ transit pass Program.

 

 

 

 

7.            APPROVE:

 

A)      The attached Metro Grade Crossing Policy for Light Rail Transit (Attachment A);

 

B)      Addition of grade separations at the following Exposition Corridor crossings as part of preliminary engineering per the attached Evaluation of Exposition LRT Project With Proposed Metro Grade Crossing Policy (Attachment B):

 

·        La Brea Avenue

·        La Cienega Boulevard

 

C)      Per the analysis in Attachment B, consider for inclusion in the Exposition LRT project scope and budget, supplemental grade crossing safety devices for traffic and/or pedestrian safety, at a minimum at the following locations:

 

·        Vermont Avenue (USC/Exposition Park)

·        Western Avenue (Foshay Middle School)

·        Arlington Avenue (Traffic Safety)

·        Gramercy Place/Rodeo Road  (Traffic Safety)

·        Crenshaw Boulevard (West Angeles Cathedral)

·        Farmdale Avenue (Dorsey High School)

 

 

 

Consideration of items not on the posted agenda, including: items to be presented and (if requested) referred to staff; items to be placed on the agenda for action at a future meeting of the Committee or Board; and/or items requiring immediate action because of an emergency situation or where the need to take immediate action came to the attention of the Committee subsequent to the posting of the agenda.
